Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using MAYServices ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Platform. We may modify these Terms at any time; your continued use constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use the Platform. By signing up, you represent that all information you provide is accurate and complete.

3. Accounts and Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. We are not liable for losses arising from stolen credentials or your failure to secure your account.

4. Platform Role

MAYserives is a marketplace that connects customers with independent contractors. We do not perform services ourselves and are not responsible for the acts or omissions of any user. We do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of any services provided.

5. Customer Obligations

• Provide accurate project details, location, and schedule information.
• Pay agreed amounts through the Platform's secure payment system.
• Treat contractors with respect and refrain from unsafe, illegal, or abusive requests.
• Do not circumvent the Platform to complete transactions outside of MAYserives.

6. Contractor Obligations

• Main accurate profiles, credentials, licenses, and insurance information.
• Perform services professionally, safely, and in compliance with applicable laws.
• Complete agreed work in a workmanlike manner within the agreed timeline.
• Not collect payment outside the Platform for services arranged through MAYserives.
• Maintain required insurance, bonding, and licensing for your trade and jurisdiction.

7. Payments, Fees, and Escrow

Customers agree to pay contractors through the Platform. Payments may be held in escrow until the service is completed or as otherwise specified. MAYserives charges platform fees to contractors as disclosed at the time of agreement. Fees are subject to change with notice. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

8. Identity Verification

We require identity verification for all users. You authorize MAYserives to verify your identity using government-issued ID and facial verification. False information may result in account termination and legal action.

9. Service Agreements

Once a customer and contractor agree on price and scope, the Platform generates a service agreement. Both parties are bound by the terms of that agreement. Disputes should first be resolved through the Platform's dispute resolution process.

10. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

Any dispute arising from these Terms or use of the Platform will be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the service is performed, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Parties agree to attempt good-faith negotiation and mediation before pursuing arbitration or litigation.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MAYserives shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues. Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MAYserives, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your use of the Platform, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion for conduct that violates these Terms, is harmful to other users, or exposes us to legal risk. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately.

14. Intellectual Property

The Platform, including its design, code, trademarks, and content, is owned by MAYserives. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.
